Marcel Theroux

Marcel Theroux is the author of four novels, Far North, A Blow to the Heart, A Stranger in the Earth, and The Paperchase, winner of the 2002 Somerset Maugham Award. His most recent novel, Far North, has been shortlisted for the prestigious National Book Award in America. He lives in London and teaches Faber Academy's popular 'Write a Short Story in a Weekend' and the three-month 'Writing Short Stories' writing courses.
